İlknur was born in Zonguldak, Türkiye. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from Selçuk University, in Konya, Turkiye. She worked in Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. for 22 years in Istanbul. She is volunteering on Payda Platformu Dernegi (helping young women students) in Istanbul. She is married with two sons, Mehmet, and Melih. She likes art, painting, reading books and Pilates.
