Ilgin Sezer M.A., GMS-T, was born and raised in Ankara, Turkey. She received her B.A. in American Culture and Literature from Bilkent University, Ankara Turkey in 2001 and earned her M.A. Communications Degree from Bethel University, St.Paul, MN in 2010.

She moved to the United States in 2002 to earn International Marketing Diploma from U.C.L.A. San Francisco, CA.  After the completion of the program, she moved to Minnesota at the end of 2002. She had worked for Fidelity National Financial as invoice auditor and trainer for over 9 years.  She taught Family Communication and Intercultural Communication classes at Bethel University.

She is currently working as Intercultural and Cross- Cultural Business Communication Trainer and most recently she had received her GMS-T certification. She also voluntarily provides Turkish Language Training to Expats and their families who assign to work and live in Turkey.

Ilgin is married with two kids, Derin and Alaz.

Ilgin has been serving as Social chair of the TAAM Board of Directors since 2015.
